Barry F. Gammel

FITCHBURG, MA - Barry Gammel was a beloved father of two extraordinary sons, a loved family member, and a dear friend to many. He is already greatly missed.

Barry was born in Fitchburg on June 14, 1974 to the late Diana Gammel. He leaves behind two sons: 14 yr. old Ashton Gammel and 10 yr. old Logan Gammel, Logan's mother Heidi Gammel and her daughter Kylie Cormier. Brothers: Michael Brown, Shawn Gammel and his wife Michelle, Scott Gammel and his wife Holly. He also leaves an Aunt: Patricia (Tambeau) Fuller and an Uncle: Robert Tambeau, whom he resided with after the passing of his mother. Uncles: Robert Schumaker and William Schumaker. He leaves two nieces Mikaylah and Meghan and four nephews: Patrick, Naythanial, Timothy, and Nicholas. Cousins: Mary, Angie, Larry, Leslie, Chris S, Chris D, Todd, Katie, Derek and Amber and their families.

Barry was a former employee of Leominster Town Fair Tire and was currently employed as a manager at Speedway in Leominster, where he was highly respected.

Barry was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed attending the races with his family.

GAMMEL - There will be a Memorial Service at Aubuchon Moorcroft Funeral Home, 132 Woodland St., Fitchburg on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with a reception to follow at the Eastwood Club in Fitchburg. All flowers and donations can be sent to the funeral home.
