Robert E LaFleur

Robert E. LaFleur, 88 of 29 Merriam Parkway Fitchburg died Friday March 13th at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester after an illness. He was born in Fitchburg the son of Yvonne (Aubuchon) LaFleur and Wilfred H. LaFleur. He was a member of St Cecilia's Church, a decorated WWII veteran, a brick mason in Massachusetts and Texas, and a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was predeceased in death by his wife Mildred (Kendall) LaFleur in 2003 and son Marc LaFleur in 2006. He was the father of five children, Laura (LaFleur) Harrington of Townsend, Robert LaFleur of Leominster, Pamela (LaFleur) Merritt of Orange, Marc LaFleur(deceased) and Stanley LaFleur of Houston Texas. He also leaves 9 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, daughter in law Joyce LaFleur and son in law Frank Merritt.
The memorial service will be held Wednesday March 18th at Aubuchon-Moorcroft Funeral Home 132 Woodland st Fitchhburg. Calling hours are 4 to 7pmwith a service to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105, in memory of Robert and Mildred LaFleur.
