She was a member of the class of 1946 Westbrook Junior College, Portland, Maine. After graduating, she worked in the college’s bookstore. She later met the love of her life, the late Royal W. Hasty, Jr. Married for 56 years, they lived in Greenfield, MA, Middletown, CT, Wethersfield, CT and Naples, ME where they retired in 1983. For the last 10 years, she has made her home with her daughter Mary Jane and Stephen Moorcroft.
Blessed with a large family, Mary is survived by her two sons Ted and Roy (Lois) and her three daughters Nancy Hasty Miller, Mary Jane (Stephen) Moorcroft and Anne (Jason) Peck.
