Cynthia S (Goss) Valcourt

Gardner- Cynthia S. (Goss) Valcourt, 59 of Gardner formerly of Fitchburg died Thursday, February 26, 2015 in the Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Cynthia was born in Fitchburg May 1, 1955 daughter of Gertrude (Melanson) Goss.
She attended Fitchburg High School and graduated from Mt Wachusett Community College. She had worked for Children’s Aid and Family Services Inc and then ran her own Family Day Care. She had been involved in Foster Care with L.U.K. Cynthia enjoyed the beach, Lake George, riding motorcycles and taking long car rides. Her grandchildren were always #1.
She leaves her husband James E. Valcourt, three children; James E. Valcourt Jr of Athol, Shelly D. Valcourt of Westminster and Jeremy D. Valcourt of Gardner, her grandchildren; Jeremy Rosado, Justin Valcourt, Isabella Valcourt, Jaclyn Valcourt, Alivia and Maryssah Valcourt and their mother Tara Williams,  and Jordan Valcourt and his mother Shannon Fors, a great grandchild Jeneya Rosado, her brothers; Wayne Goss of Westminster, Bruce Goss of Leominster and Keith Goss of Gardner, one sister Sandy Salmond of Fitchburg, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Sharon Siart.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 11:00am in the Aubuchon-Moorcroft Funeral Home, 132 Woodland St Fitchburg. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Monday evening from 5 until 7pm in the funeral home
