Fitchburg- Michael F. Rameau, 58 was stricken ill and died Tuesday, May 8, 2012.
Michael was born February 19, 1954 in Fitchburg son of Francis W. and Beverly (Blandin) Rameau Sr.
For many years Michael worked at the Oak Hill Country Club in Fitchburg. He was a cancer survivor. Michael was an outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He loved playing cards. He was a spiritual person and was always there to help a friend.
He is survived by two sisters; Patricia A. Kreidler of Fitchburg and Sandra L. D'Amico of Las Vegas, two brothers; Francis W. Rameau Jr. and his partner Anne Belmont and Wayne V. Rameau and his wife Lois, both from Fitchburg, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his parents and two brothers Kevin and Walter.
RAMEAU -- A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday May 19th at 11:00AM, in St. Bernards Church at St. Camillus Parish, 333 Mechanic St., Fitchburg. There will be no calling hours.Immediately following the service at Celebration of Michael's life will be held at the Rameau home 205 Central Ave Ext. Fitchburg. Aubuchon-Moorcroft Funeral Home, Fitchburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
