Fitchburg- Robert A. Turcotte, 82 of Fitchburg died Saturday, March 31st in the Golden Living Center, Fitchburg.
Robert was born September 10, 1929 in Fitchburg son of Albert and Grace (Boucher) Turcotte. He was a graduate of Fitchburg High School, Class of 1948. Bob worked for the James River Paper Co at Mill # 8 for many years before retiring in 1985. Bob served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict from 1948 through 1952 serving in Germany. He was a former member of St. Joseph Church in Fitchburg.
Bob’s wife Estelle(Girouard) Turcotte died January 14, 2007. He leaves his sons; Robert Turcotte and his wife Donna of Henniker N.H. and Kevin Turcotte and his wife Sharon of Winchendon, his daughters; Lisa Freedman and her husband Sid of Worcester, Karen Goudreau and her fiancée Denis Turgeon of Ashby and Melissa Lancieri of Port St. Lucie Florida, his sister, Claire LaFleur of Florida and seven grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister Lorraine Grenier.
A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, April 3rd at 10:00am in St. Joseph Church, 49 Woodland St. Fitchburg. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. A Calling hour will be held Tuesday morning from 8:30am until 9:30am in the Aubuchon-Moorcroft Funeral Home 132 Woodland St. Fitchburg. (www.aubuchon-moorcroftfuneralhome.com)
In lieu of flowers donations in Bob’s memory may be made to the: Alzheimer’s Association, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown MA 02472.

Robby, Lisa, Kevin, Karen, Melissa,
I am so sorry to hear the passing of your dad. I have many memories of him and your family growing up on Hickory Road. No more worrying about him.....God will take good care of him.
