Fitchburg- Joseph R. “Bob” Sicard, 92 died peacefully on March 5, 2012 at the Golden Living Center Fitchburg. He was born on July 1, 1919 in Fitchburg son of Charles and Marceline (Thibodeau) Sicard. He leaves his wife of 51 years Doris (Roy) Sicard and his son David Sicard. He is also survived by brother-in-law and sister-in-law Don and Val Roy of Rhode Island, his sister-in-law Gladys Renaud of Fitchburg, his niece Beverly Petravage of Turners Falls MA and several other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two brothers Raymond and Norman.
Bob worked for years at Independent Lock Co in Fitchburg, then as a custodian for the Fitchburg School system. After he retired, he worked part time for Market Basket in Fitchburg.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Joseph Church, 49 Woodland St. Fitchburg MA 01420.
Aubuchon-Moorcroft Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
