Petersham- Scot Wilson, 55 of Petersham was stricken ill and died on Sunday, February 21, 2016 in Athol Memorial Hospital.
Scot was born in Fitchburg on March 14, 1960 son of Frederick and Jane (Albert) Wilson. He graduated from Fitchburg High School class of 1978 and was a member of the basketball team and a member of the Fitchburg High School athletic Hall of Fame. He attend Fitchburg State College where he played football. He was a member of the Leominster Eagles. Scot retired from Wachusett Pre Cast Co and had previously worked for Bonvenzi Co and Chu associates.
He leaves his mother and father of Fitchburg, 2 daughters: Nicole Wilson of Leominster and Kayla Hanny of Petersham, a brother Timothy Wilson and his wife Marjorie of Winchendon, three sisters: Susan Haney and her husband Clifford of Leesville Louisiana, Kathleen Martin and her husband Kevin of Merrimack N.H. and Lori Provencial and her husband Kevin of Winchendon, one granddaughter Kiara Hanny of Petersham, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a daughter Alexis Wilson.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday evening, February 26th at 7:00pm in the Aubuchon-Moorcroft Funeral Home, 132 Woodland St Fitchburg MA. Burial will be private at a later date. Calling hours will be held Friday evening from 5 until 7pm in the funeral home.
